Lennard Rubra's proggy tropical punk flavors on the "Escapismo Primaverile" EP make me feel alive

The Escapismo Primaverile EP by Lennard Rubra from Emilia-Romagna, Italy is full of jammy exuberant indie pop tones feeling like tropical punk with free proggy diversions tossed in for good measure. The track Telemachia sparkles with pearly sticcatto guitar and upside bass lines dancing along. Really loving the drunken dance feel of Pina Bausch. Urano feels a bit like Telemachia's sister but there are proto punk tones throughout. La Stagione tiptoes around in a elegant punk way. The sounds throughout feel a bit like Mac DeMarco twisted about with proto punkish vibes ala Television blended in nicely. Cool stuff.
