"The Photograph" by JF Robitaille and Lail Arad was just meant to be

The song The Photograph by singer songwriters JF Robitaille (Canada) and Lail Arad (UK) is a magical blend of words and music that feels like an all too brief encounter of what could have been or what simply was,  perfectly frozen in time. Robitaille wrote the music which has an almost 60's Phil Spector-esque sway and Arad the lyrics full of charm and romantic leanings. Maybe the song is a testament to what is supposed to be. Just like the pairing of Robitaille and Arad itself.

The two acclaimed artists co-headlined an Italian tour in 2016  and found the next logical step was collaborating and recording together. They spent a winter in Montreal penning songs together and playing a month long residency at the iconic Society Club in London. Eventually this culminated in a 42 date tour in 2017 spanning across 8 countries from Italy to India resulting in a sold out London show and live radio sessions for Loose Ends (BBC Radio 4), Robert Elms (BBC London) and John Kennedy (Radio X). Some things are just meant to be.
