AP Track Review
Winston Vista remains sort of a mystery and that's ok. The music he crafts is cloaked in that vibe too. It feels all very personal. It is bedroom pop personified in an art house kind of way. If his songs were movies they would, after all, most likely be in those little funky theaters in some downtown and, quite possibly, be black and white, disjointed affairs. Moving Rorschach tests. His latest track Haunted has his signature drum machine beat, kind of Casiofied synth sound, sad guitar and introspective vocal wail with long sustains on certain words. I like his voice, it is unique and while you might think all voices are unique, at least when it comes to singing they are not. As Winston Vista his vocal presentation feels half spoken word (in a sense) like a beat poet tying words to melody. If you are into or intrigued by music on the other side of commercial pop (like I am) then you should do yourself a favor and check out his beautifully strange reflections on Spotify.

From Winston Vista's Soundcloud about Haunted:
"If you're not haunted by something, as by a dream, a vision, or a memory, which are involuntary, you're not interested or even involved."
-Jack Kerouac
