Mikal Cronin's song Peace of Mind is drenched in an Elliot Smith-ish ennui. The feeling is played out beautifully in the video featuring Mary Timothy of Helium/Wild Flag as a motel maid who finds ways to defiantly push away her own melancholia. Who hasn't felt exactly like this. Tenderly directed by Lara Gallagher.
