Books are an indie pop band from Chicago. On their track Jean Shorts the group mines forlorn imagery and an unknown future. The tone is wistful and kind of romantic. Their EP "Novella" just debuted a day before Valentines day.... even that seems a little sad. Books is Ajay Raghuraman (Lead vox, Guitar), Alex Pieczynski (vox, bass), Kevin Sheppard (vox, lead guitar), Stephen Boi (keyboard) and Sam Hass (drums).
