"Easy Now" by L.A.'s Mines Falls - Fragile vocals sit atop percussive synth and piano notes that seem to be running away from something...

The track Easy Now by Los Angeles (by way of New Hampshire) brothers Carson and Erik Lund known as Mines Falls is both intimate and vast in atmosphere. Fragile vocals sit atop percussive synth and piano notes that seem to be running away from something. The melody feels a bit Thom York-ish and the backing vocals even a bit Ed O'Brien-ish but not overly so and in the end it is utterly Mines Fall's own song. Emotionally dense the song builds to what feels like the death of something and then the running piano stops running as a plaintiff horn signals the final end. Beautiful stuff. -
