Mouse Dog Bird- is an indie folk outfit out of Phoenix, Arizona. Johnny Raincloud and Jarod Land site their influences as Thom Yorke, Elliot Smith, Nick Drake and Kings of Convenience on their Facebook page. On the evocative track Proverba Infero I felt hints of Elliot Smith the most even though the track doesn't really sound like an ES track. In fact, one could argue that the drawn out phrasings and fractured guitar feels more Thom York-esque. Maybe it is just me, maybe Mouse Dog Bird just made me miss Elliot as I often do.
