Baby, I Know It by Amsterdam based Swedish indie artist Francis Moon feels almost translucent in tone. Any song with "baby" in the title is usually for the most part going to be kind of romantic and wear its heart on its sleeve and this one just does that and it is unabashedly pure lovely pop. Yes, kind of has that Coldplay-esque lilt but not overly so and the more you listen hardly at all. There is something less preening about it and I love that. I found myself keep coming back to it and it made me feel good on this beautiful crisp Saturday morning. Even better Francis recorded this track in his apartment late at night with Erik Moberg on guitar. The single is officially released today via his imprpint label Dirty Glasses Records.
