Caravela are brothers Frank and Stephen Graniero from New York and the title track off their 10 track album "Ski" (released Feb 2nd of this year) is a bottom heavy indie rocker and feels full charged. The strident yells, cries feel like they are call outs in the dark so you can be found. The dense production with proggy touches, tom tom beats, circular guitars and passionate vocals feel life affirming. A cursory listen to the entire album and this exuberant aesthetic carries through. I hope the brothers have a killer live band to support their sounds.
