The dense dark strains of Stevie Wolf's "Yves Klein Blue"

Yves Klein Blue.... the name of Stevie Wolf's latest track stood out right away. Maybe because of my graphics arts background, maybe because it felt like the song would or could have depth like the color itself and it does. Wolf's production has a dark dense pop sensibility and his vocal performance is cooly drawn, theatrical and very self aware.

Woven into all that is happening here drama and a sweet groove move hand in hand and you get the feeling that Wolf knows how cool the aesthetic is he has created but that is ok and maybe the point for this type of postured pop song.
