Kolaus is a punk band from Lahti / Helsinki and besides the fact that I really cannot understand what they are saying they remind me of Brooklyn punkers the So So Glos. The So So Glos have a beat your chest, slap on the leather jacket back feel of camaraderie and family and I hear this in Kolaus' first ever (self titled) track which they say is a "kind of dropout anthem / drinking song of a person who can't keep up with the modern world".
Let me introduce you to the Kolaus family: Jukka-Pekka Talsi (vox), Mikko Ahvonen (vox. guitar), Jami Varonen (bass), Aleksi Simesto (drums) and Nico Henry (guitar).
