The Nova Darlings are friends and an indie rock outfit out of Los Angeles and USC students. This is good, stay in school if you can guys (oh damn the dad in me rearing it's ugly yet caring head again) and their track, new single is called
Laundry Room / Caesura and it is cool and smart and scrappy. The lyrics made me smile and they fit together well in the puzzle piece song that has some sweet shifting musical frays and melodramatic, angsty down beats amid the heartfelt sad charm. Cool stuff.
