Grant Richardson - country roots on "Waiting" from Vancouver Island is blissfully real

The song Waiting by Vancouver Island (CAN) based singer-songwriter Grant Richardson (and from his debut solo album "Hard Night") was honed in a stone walled re-purposed cathedral. I love the country / folk Americana roots that you can feel deeply in this song and Richardson's vocal performance. There is something stoic, yet passionate in his vocal tones, something real and unaware of being so if that makes any sense and I love that. The musicality is so solid too and I love the tightness of the band and exquisite country lead lines. Everything is so spot on. Big love for this song.
