Psych Rock Blues outfit Coattails out of Austin, Texas bring some seriously dreamy heavy sound to the track Waves off their latest "Imaginary Friends" EP. There is a dream theater aspect to the track with pearly psychedelic guitar lines and equally dreamy vocals. The song shifts into heavy metal downbeats with blissfully cool staccato drum, bass, guitar breaks that sounds so dynamic and then shifts into dreamy land squared. The whole feel is fable-esque like Alice with tats stumbling down acid laden rabbit holes. Love the aesthetic here. There is something so beautifully classic about this. Love it.
