LDN LPZ by Gon Von Zola a London based "3rd culture kid" with German, Swedish, Estonian and Indian roots is a post punk twist and turn on a classic blues / soul rock prog done up in a kind of art rock way. First listen, I thought of Arctic Monkeys and on the periphery even Queens Of The Stone Age. Love the aesthetic and GVZ's vocal presentation. Check out the Official Video below.

Of the song, Gon says,

"LDN LPZ is about the pros and cons of moving to London and focusing entirely on my music. It's about the financial instability of being an artist in the capital, the discomfort, the worries, the challenges, the brilliant music and romantic encounters. It's about my original hometown Leipzig's beautiful drifters, artsy environments, open air raves, low rents, and an easy life. The song also celebrates youth, and the freedom to travel, live and find love anywhere we like." 

Formerly known under his stage name The Budda Cakes, Gon has been championed by the likes of NME, Time Out, Uncut, BBC 6 to name a few, and has also supported Lykke Li, RiD, Kate Nash and Mystery Jets.
