Whisperhawk - big psyche blues rock diatribe of "Good Guy With A Gun" is timely and deadly cool

Good Guy With A Gun by Utah based Whisperhawk the solo project of singer / songwriter Michael Gross is a slick bottom bass rocker with big sounds and big empty spaces filled by Gross's kind of sultry slow burn rock postured vocal performance and sweet psyche blues rock guitar licks. The pushed diatribe of the song, the penchant for an American man (or woman) to be armed to the hilt as a kind of pure blood red right and American unification at any cost ("give me a machine gun") is timely and chilling at the same time.
