Astralingua twists world folk / chamber pop with psyche dreams on "A Poison Tree" from the upcoming "Safe Passage" Album

The song A Poison Tree by alternative folk outfit Astralingua blends Old World, classic folk tones and a subtle tinge of dreamy psychedelia. The result has an earnest vintage feel that also veers into the kind of chamber pop / folk tones that would find itself on radio, television and film in the 70's. This retro aesthetic works on many levels feeling engaging and a bit like time travel like gazing through a vintage stereo camera.  Astralingua are composer / multi-instrumentalist Joseph Andrew and vocalist Anne Thompson crafting their songs in an organic way, always played instead of programmed. A Poison Tree is one of 11 tracks on the "Safe Passage" album which is scheduled for a March 8th release (currently available for pre-order).
