"Swill" by Eyesore & The Jinx is a punk blast- part psycho-billy and part surf punk through a carnival mirror
Swill by Eyesore & The Jinx is a punk blast feeling raw and real and kind of part psycho-billy and part surf punk through a carnival mirror-- midway the song veers down a psychedelic rabbit hole with tropical punk flavors in a kind of dreamy decrescendo. "Swill is a three minute and thirty-nine second love song dedicated to the odious, perpetrators of moral panic, in all of its loathsome forms." "Emerging from the putrid banks of the River Mersey"-Eyesore & The Jinx are inspired by the sounds and aesthetics from early-eighties post-punk groups (particularly The Fall, The Gun Club, and The Birthday Party), other influences include Parquet Courts, The Minutemen and the unmistakable outlandish energy of The Cramps. - Robb Donker
