Thanks Light's goosebumps inducing "Pig" from the upcoming "American Hamburger" LP

AP Track Review

The track Pig from Thanks Light's upcoming "American Hamburger" Full Length is a jubilant big piece of arty garden rock dream theater. That is, at least, the description that comes to mind. There are so many goosebumps inducing elements here from 70's psychedelic chamber pop flavors twisted with gospel elements and roots rock folk. I love, absolutely love the sounds, the piano keys (is that a Fender Rhodes?), the heavy bass and equally heavy downbeat driven drums and the very passionate spirit induced vocal performance. Wow. Much love.

"American Hamburger" drops October 31st, this Halloween.

Thanks Light hail from Austin Texas and is:
Zane Ruttenberg: Vocals, Guitars, Moog, Tambourine, Shakers and Harmonica.
Michael Frels: Piano, Wurlitzer, and Vibraphone
Brad Mitchell: Drums, and Percussion
Giuseppe Ponti: Bass and Vocal Harmonies/Backups

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:

Thanks Light's first of two new singles "Pig" finds the band exploring new sonic turf. "Pig" is the band taking a step back and focusing on the quality of songwriting as well as the recording. Ultimately, Thanks Light wanted to create new music which was both exhilarating, sonically blissful and easy to listen to.
