AP Track Review
The track Joan by Baby Combat, the indie pop rock project by New York based singer-songwriter Noel Yeo has a love torn youthful bedroom pop tone steeped in tones that lift elements of late 70's new wave and 90's post rock indie College radio. I thought of early Cure a bit and Sonic Youth too. Yeo possesses a sort of punk rawness on this track maybe filtered through those feeling we all have felt before, of wanting to be wanted but maybe not feeling good enough, picking at love torn scars.

Baby Combat is an indie pop rock project by Noel Yeo, a singer-songwriter based in New York City. Born in Singapore, his previous bands include Shelves, Suchness, and Silverspy. As an experiment, Baby Combat will write and release a new single every month for a year, starting with Difficult But True.
