Moses' anthemic rocker "You Need L (Love)" - guitar driven with killer vocals
AP Track Review
You Need L from UK's Moses is a rocker with classic rock and roll bones and flesh. In many ways it could of existed in some alternate 70's commercial rock universe, although the divergent guitar work, sometimes pushing proggy dissonant buttons feel less so (loving the guitar work here). You Need L is a big anthemic stadium rocker. It feels a bit nostalgic but not in a copycat sort of way. I hate to touch on Greta Van Fleet but I must, only in that Moses might dip their toe in classic rock sounds but do so in an original way with a power house vocal performance that is it's own, all it's own. Enough Said.

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:
Having nothing in common with the saviour prophet – except great live performance, MOSES are an honest rock music antidote to the times we live through. “See them play as soon as possible, they will lift your soul!” - John Kennedy (Radio X, 2019)
The band released an eponymous debut EP in Autumn 2016 and a single; ‘King Size’, in 2017. Their live presence earned great supports (The Heavy, Feeder, The Enemy etc.) and festivals
including Reading/Leeds, Download, Kendal Calling, Camden Rocks and The Great Escape.
"...recalling the fizzing energy of very early Blur, except, maybe even better." (Mojo)
After a brief hiatus in early 2018, they stepped up with a DIY plan. Armed with self financed recordings and belief in their songs: MOSES released the Gil Norton produced singles; ‘Cause You Got Me’ (Autumn) and ‘River Thames’ (Winter) and won new fans, international support, key playlists - plus gigs with profiled UK guitar bands, The Blinders, SHEAFS, The Rifles etc. “The band's stage show is crisp, bristling with youthful energy and a sense that they're on exactly the same side as their audience.” (Clash). Partnering each release with art by Ana Ban Ana, they also soundtrack footballer, Rio Ferdinand’s 2019 movie, '90 Minutes'. ‘Cause You Got Me’ appears on the 2018 film ‘Tomb Raider’. 2019 singles ‘I Think You Worry Too Much' (Spring) and ‘Findings’ produced by Gavin Monaghan were both uplifting hits with music fans, playlists, radio (and sports stadiums!) with videos by Hum Hum Production. The latter, empowering promo, became the band’s fastest viewed so far. Music site, Travellers Tunes, reported "In times of such division, MOSES might just be the tonic of togetherness to knit us all back together again."
Phenomenal anthems and the energetic, passionate, hearts-on-sleeve live experience are powerfully infectious. Having completed a triumphant Spring tour, MOSES have been working on new material and are setting up dates for winter and beyond. Working hard to survive and build a following, this is world class entertainment that has to be seen and heard to be believed. All faith in them is appreciated, and rewarded. “Should any band I have heard recently be selling out stadiums in the future it is London’s MOSES.” (The Girls At The Rock Show, USA)
