Brazilian electro experimental outfit That Gum U Like create beat driven music influenced by dreampop, shoe gaze and electronica. They got together with the talented musical friend and DJ Lulu Praxedes on the every dreamy and dance worthy A Shot In A Frame. Beginning with tropical punk sounding guitar strains, ambient touches and synth waves, while percussive touches of sound punctuate the beats, the female dream laden vox with ghosted male vox float over it all. There are other effected vox that heighten the hyper-reality of it all. The lush alluring production that feels sweet and ethereal belie the edgy attitude:
"you ain't gonna break me down... cuz my heart is not open.... so fuck you"

We create music influenced by dreampop, shoegazer and a few electronic elements. Our major references are Cocteau Twins, The xx, My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive.
Our track "Killer" has been among the 10 most popular on Hype Machine. We have released a 8 track EP in December, which contains remixes for every original track in it created by first class DJ`s/producers. In april, we have released a new track called Biography, which has received a lot of positive reviews online from websites such as Born Music Online, Detroy/Exist, Obscure Sound, Grunge Cake, Tilt Mag, Your EDM, among others.
