Lolipop Podcast
Around 2012-2014 I was convinced that Wyatt Blair, songwriter, musician, engineer, producer and co-founder of the iconic L.A. Indie Label Lolipop Records was just one of three identical triplets. It seemed to be the only explanation why Wyatt seemed to be everywhere. I would literally run into him while interviewing Kera and the Lesbians in some remote rehearsal space one day, see him in his various musical incarnations like in Mr. Elevator and the Brain Hotel a few days later and then the very next day see him playing drums in another band. My memory maybe off but I am pretty sure he was performing in his solo capacity as "Wyatt Blair" but also playing drums for Feeding People at the same venue (on the same night). The man is an Eveready bunny, an important figure in the So.Cal indie scene and a hell of a sweet guy. I had the great pleasure to interview him on my Podcast about two years ago so it was a pleasure to return the favor and be the interviewee on The Lolipop Connection. We reminisced a lot as well as talked about how important music really is and the trial and tribulations of being an artist in today's modern world.
