ALX is a singer-songwriter, musician, producer from Atlanta, Georgia and her latest offering One Day is a beautiful spartan indie pop song that moves effortlessly on plucked guitar sustains, light orchestration but mostly her evocative, emotional vocal performance about the first girl she fell in love with. The arc and aesthetic of the song starts off so chill but then the melodic cadence with rushed phrases and increased anticipated instrumentation feels like ones heartbeat increasing and even fluttering sometimes.

I wrote this song about the first girl I fell in love with. It begins as "I think that maybe one day...." and then gradually goes on to show how much she hurt me. The last 30 seconds will give you goose bumps, as I change the lyrics from "I think that one day" to "I thought that one day..."
