Dolorific's jangly indie pop "Oh, Doctor" is a bit of sweet medicine

From Sweden

From their upcoming debut full length, "Welcome to Dolograd" due to drop on January 24th (2020) on Nasty Cut Records, Dolorific's track Oh, Doctor is a free, jangly bit of indie pop with a wee bit of The Smiths vocal lilt. It is a song that easily slides around your waist and leads you to the dance floor.

"Oh, Doctor is about the power doctors can have over your life. They can be either angels or devils depending on who you meet. They can either help you or topple you. Oh, Doctor is both a tribute to the good ones and a f*ck you to all the bad ones. Also, they can be very expensive..."

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:

Dolorifics are an alternative rock band with DIY ethics from Gothenburg, Sweden, and they've been around since 2016. After playing together in various constellations for almost a decade Erik Löfving, Christoffer Anderson and brothers Olle and Kalle Mossberg over time realised that they share an ambition for aimlessly throwing their time and money away into the black hole that is rock'n'roll. The EP "Excessive Self-Pity", and a couple of tours around Europe later, Dolorifics signed to indie label Nasty Cut Records and are releasing their first full-length, "Welcome to Dolograd", on the 24th of january 2020! The album was recorded and mixed at Studio Zen by Kristofer Göransson and mastered by Magnus Lindberg (Redmount Studios, Cult of Luna.).
