Kent (UK) The Gallerys full throttle "You're A Dreamer" jams

For Dreamers

The Gallerys is a power indie pop trio out of Kent (UK) and with their full throttle passion, jagged guitars, sharp downbeats and harmonies (and a heavy touch of Mod sounds) I flashed on bands like The Jam and bands that inspired Weller and the boys and, not doubt The Gallerys, like The Who, The Kinks, The Yardbirds and, of course, the all inclusive Beatles. Their track You're A Dreamer is a perfect antidote for the common sea of sameness in the current pop scene. I love the tightly would sound, intertwined bass and drums, big guitars and vox harmonies laced with youthful angst. And I love the fact that they are a three piece outfit.

'You’re a Dreamer is an indie rock song about feeling helpless about a loved one who is lost in life and finding it difficult to get out of a mental rut of low ambition and self-sabotaging behaviours. The songs narrator can merely sit back and watch the loved one being a ‘dreamer’ for a better life.'

The Gallerys are Craig Barden (Bass and Vocals), James Wood (Guitar and Vocals) and Dan Maggs (Drums and Vocals).
