linelions crunchy guitars, big heavy drum sound and college rock tendencies on "Closure"

AP TRACK REVIEW

For an self described alt folk band, the track Closure by New York's linelions is a pretty vast sounding indie rocker with deep post punk / 90's college rock tendencies. It has a big bass pushed heavy handed stomping drum beat and a both crunchy and jangling guitar sound with a rocking stair stepping prog. I am feeling a convergence of shifting styles and times like R.E.M / Cracker / Angel Olsen all in one.

Closure is their second single from their upcoming album "II" which drops on January 27th, 2020.

linelions are based out of Pleasantville, New York.
