Divergent Post Punk from Calgary's Port Juvee on "Motion Control"
The killer track Motion Control by Calgary post punk band Port Juvee has a densely packed divergent sound with an aesthetic that hearkens back to the proto punk of the late 70's, one of the most fertile periods of experimental punk. Listening to the sideways guitar lines, the overall weirdness and wide eyed self aware vox and I am feeling a sort of car crash sound of punk trailblazers Devo and Television.
It's the title track from their forthcoming LP "Motion Control"due out February 28th.
