"Sandown Bay" beautiful and brittle by Mark Rolfe

"drawing super heroes on sun stained glass"

Sandown Bay by Nottingham (UK) singer-songwriter and classically trained musician Mark Rolfe feels like a delicate snowflake, unique and beautiful but ultimately brittle. The song crafted with layered acoustic guitars, intimate broken vocals and a haunting what sounds like a pedal steel guitar. Rolfe plays in the dream pop band Lorna, plays 14 instruments, works in music education and runs his own music school. Bravo.

Sandown Bay is from the "Songs of the Sea" full length (2018)
