Telescreens' mournful, powerful, beautiful flow and beat on "You're Alright"

"oh shit"

Telescreens, while I can't tell you much about them except that seem to be based out of L.A by way of NYC (or maybe vice versa) and are Jackson Hamm, Josiah Valerius and Austin Brenner and I absolutely love their sound on You're Alright... absolutely love everything about it. It starts out on a big drum beat and keys and grabs you by the shirt collar instantly. The bouncy vocal rap comes in mournful and turned down... more voices add to the flow and it becomes dramatic and slowly burns more angry. Imperceptibly but most definitely the vibe wraps around you in powerful ways and then the orchestration starts... oh shit.

"You’re Alright is a song for the paralyzing moments of confusion and doubt that we all go through as humans. The song is told from two mental states, first the person sitting inside the fire dealing with the pain; and second from a place of enlightenment having come out of the fire alive. It is a song to dance to, to jump around to, to play loud and heavy; and is also a song to play quiet and fall asleep to. It is at its core a maximalist lullaby to get you through your darkest moments or ride you through your highest peaks."
