Zard spends his dollars and sense wisely on "Expensive" (feat. Psypiritual)

"Trying to find love in the modern age"

Zard is an artist and producer based out of Tucson, Arizona and on the high priced track Expensive he ruminates on the debts and expense of a relationship but not monetarily... no emotionally and as Zard smartly explains:

This track is about the risks of finding someone new despite your past relationships. I use metaphors of debt and loans to explain how I can't afford to spend any more emotional capital on someone new but when I stumble upon something as beautiful as her it's irresistible. Despite my baggage I'll do as the chorus says and "max out my credit card" for a chance to be with her.

The track is ultimately smooth and charming as hell.

"you always love me
even when I got no cash
my wallet is empty
I pay you with my energy
we have this chemistry
embedded in our memories"

-Robb Donker Curtius
