Gentle Ivanhoe Death Skulls are working on a New EP for this spring (2020) and this little peek called Careful Is My Middle Name sounds rather normal for GIDS but also incredibly catchy. I seem to love everything they put out. Careful Is My Middle Name has a delicious Farfisa sounding keys / acoustic guitar rhythm interplay, snappy beat, eruptive darkly happy musical breaks punctuated by guitar tremolo and nicely distorted vox. They just seem to be innately artistic, sometimes in a sideways sort of way and sometimes not but always captivating.
