Jacksonport chases the moon with the indie folk wanderlust of "Western Stars"

"well who are you and who am I"

Western Stars by Jacksonport "the solo imagination" of singer-songwriter, musician John Fatum is intimate, beautifully tender and full of wanderlust, but this to be expected. You see, Fatum gave up his Brooklyn, NY apartment in the spring of 2019 and living the vagabond life traveling around the United States in his car, Little Nipper. You can feel that sense of freedom but longing for something too within the hushed strains of Western Stars. The moneys that would of gone to his rent have instead gone towards his self produced recordings.

The recordings include synth playing by Julian Pollack (J3P0, The Lesson, Marcus Miller) and electric guitar by Adam Brisbin (Buck Meek, Sam Evian, Cass McCombs) and mixing by Grammy Award Winner Phil Joly (Electric Lady, Common, Lana Del Ray, Daft Punk, The Strokes). Jacksonport will be releasing a new song every month in 2020. - (from Press Notes).
