Pharmacy Keys' post punk tenderness of "Baby Tonight" from their debut "Conjuress" album

"I know what's good... I know what's right"

I liked the Pharmacy Keys sound the very first time I heard their dreamy and tenderly comfortable track Baby Tonight from their recently released debut album "Conjuress" (2020). Baby Tonight starts off deceptively like something from a 60's prom movie and then it dives into a kind of 90's college indie rock sound with post punk guitars and cool and true vox. The verses with the high vocal spike that comes down is incredibly catchy. The lead guitar lines on the chorus is melodically moving as is the lush sound. It is earnest, unpretentious rock with a melodic folk / garden rock heart with post punk flesh and bones in the vein of bands like Miracle Legion (Polaris) and Dinosaur Jr. Tender rock with hard and soft edges that make you reminisce about good and bad times. Love this.
