Dustin Price's folk rock magnetism of "Slow My Mind"

"deafening silence, I don't feel a thing"

Dustin Price's absolutely magnetic Slow My Mind is a folk rock song that is stuck in my brain. It is one I will undoubtedly listen to everyday for an infinite amount of time. The mid-tempo walking tempo with a solid unrelenting drum beat that moves quietly strong like someone heading for an important fight that they have a righteous reason to win holds the bass and chunky (delicious) electric guitar in sway. Price's voice is rock solid but has a lovely pop artifice as well and is also quietly strong. The song slowly burns and when the eruption takes place in jagged distorted guitar and a superbly played lead (by Price) it is a heady climactic moment. This song has MOR rock radio bones but crosses over to Indie rock and even post punk places.

Dustin Price hails from Birmingham, Alabama.
