Baer and the Lady and the psyche rock downbeats of "Doomer Wander"

"freedom where'd you go"

Doomer Wander, the title track off of wife-wife duo Baer and the Lady's concept EP is a trippy piece of psyche piano rock with a (sort of) 70's garden rock sense. Those of you who read AP know that I use the term garden rock from time to time. I like to make up my descriptors from time to time and for me, garden rock is rock that feels sort embued with a late 60's / 70's hippie vibe, like music that feels organic and could of been played at Woodstock. I get that sense with Doomer Wander, there is a blues vibe and folk affection here. Loving the gallop of the piano keys, the dramatic downbeats and the layered harmonies. Cool.

"This song is written from the perspective of the DOOMER; a modern day character we can all relate to...they wake up to a world strife with inequity, environmental and politics issues. Their mind wanders throughout the day, as they grapple with modern society and what their role is in it"

-Robb Donker Curtius

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:

Baer and the Lady grew out of the healing process of playing and recording. Every day it evolves... Today, it is the only thing that makes sense in this world. A call for action, that starts with the self.
