Andrea Franz and Andrés Arzate get down on the groovy soul punk pop "Worst Curse" (Official Video)

"love is the worst curse I've ever seen"

The scintillating and groovy collab by Mexico City based artists Andrea Franz and Andrés Arzate called Worst Curse makes me want to purchase a silk robe (except I sweat in anything but cotton), smoke cigarettes only if they are in a foot long holder (except I don't smoke cigs), and, finally, to dance seductively in tight pants and a velveteen blazer (except I can't fucking dance) but still, Worst Curse makes me feel like I could do all those things as stupid as they are and it is a decidedly chill and cool track. Feels kind of funk meets punk lounge meets indie pop. I especially love the guitar picking that is so pretty and Franz's charming, beautiful croon. Go with me on this but this track has a deep well of punk pop infused into the R&B indie. It feels like as if Mac DeMarco, The Vivian Girls, Blood Orange and Halsey got together. Andrea wrote the lyrics and melody, and Andrés contributed all of the musical arrangements and production.

I think this, them feels like a creative marriage made in heaven but that's just me.
