Asheville's The Great Plains runaway "Fever Dream" feels like a classic
"some things may of been lost"
There is a soothing rock classicalism within The Great Plains' runaway Fever Dream. It might be the guitar groove informed by evocative bass notes and rhythm guitar bends or the hushed yet urgent vocals, but the alt rock sound feels fully inclusive and the kind of sound that transcends genres and generations like a good Fleetwood Mac or Dwight Twilly Band song or something similar. At the helm / core are Nathan Smith (vox, guitar, bass) and David Elliott (guitar, bass) realizing what started off as a bedroom recording project.
The pair write and produce everything in Asheville, North Carolina with assistance from James Button (drums) and Ben Jennings (percussion).

Combining the sounds of two long time friends and musical collaborators, The Great Plains (Nathan Smith & David Elliott) started as a bedroom recording project, two separate bedrooms down the hall from each other to be exact, until things clicked and turned into a full fledged recording duo.
The Great Plains craft lush, and punchy songs with earnestness, hope and truth.
