"Walking down the halls...Walking through the walls"
There is a lot to like within P.M. Tiger's psyche rock meets Beach Goth pop musical escapade, It's Gunna Hurt. The fun lies in a song that has interweaving guitar lines and narratives. The production with it's spartan moments and dense guitar heavy musical breaks feels like an indie pop song before it was massaged to death and all the good parts were taken out. Press notes reveal that the band had differences with studio recording engineers and decided to record and release the EP (that this song is on) themselves and for that I am grateful. You can hear the rawness in the wonderful diversions and shifting tones and I love that stuff.
The Official Video kind of plays like one of those 1970's Italian Gothic Horror flicks and è davvero divertente!
