John E. Vistic and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre of a rock song: "King of Rock N Roll" (Official Video)

"well, sometimes when I walk into a room it's like everyone is an expert"

King of Rock N Roll by Bristol (UK) singer-songwriter John E. Vistic (vox, guitarist for The John E. Vistic Rock N Roll Soundsystem) whose reputation as a rock and roll bad ass precedes him: described by Tom Robinson as a ‘Cult Legend’ and by The Metro as a ‘towering figure on the live scene’ is a Texas Chainsaw Massacre of a rock song. I think it starts off with the gross phlegm suckage before one "hocks a loogie", at least that's what it sounds like to me and then proceeds with an absolutely unrelenting double time pounding beat and crunch of caustic guitars and vox.

King of Rock N Roll is the first single from the forthcoming Vistic album "Under the Volcano". The track is produced by Tom Hackwell, Bristol (The Plainviews) and released on DeafEndling Records 2020.

Vistic recently released The Ark Compilation albums Vol.1 and 2 of 47 Bristol artists raising money for Corona Virus Victims in Bristol. The album was released on Bandcamp with all proceeds going to the Quartet Charity Corona Fund. For the album, Vistic released his own cover of Portishead's song 'Glory Box' alongside artists including BEAK> and many other well known Bristol artists. On Vol. 2 Vistic released his heavy version of 'The Times they are a Changing' described by Jon Stewart (Wedding Present/Sleeper) as: "NIN meets Butthole Surfers for a gang fight in an alleyway."
