Bad Flamingo make a western pop noir investment on "Bottom Shelf Gin" and it goes down easy
"makin' an investment on a golden future"
Bad Flamingo is at it again. These smoky voiced masked creatures have not only created a signature sound but a persona, a reputation that runs far and wide. Adorned in matching outfits that run the gamut from neckerchief'd satin western shirts and leather (like) pants to red leather (like) suits. True, one wears a cowboy hat and one a bollero style. One is brunette and one is blonde but their cold hard stares hold true as does the propensity to adorn their cocktail of spaghetti western, pop noir, kitsch and gothic folk with varying degrees of emotional weight.
Bottom Shelf Gin with guitar jags that gallop in between Bon Jovi and Lil Nas X, Bad Flamingo ride into town with maybe more pop forward tones than before but their vocal aesthetic is and will always be there own as well as their truly unique lyrical style pushed with a storytellers heart, cinematic eyes and an acerbic tongue.
