Tone Deaf wants us to chill out sweetly on "Meloncholia" (Official Video)

"got a couple dollars crumpled in my hand"

Tone Deaf has just released “Meloncholia,” a feel good track and video with a short and sweet taste of their overall sound. This Connecticut band is emulating a surf garage style well enough to make you think they’re from California. During this season, during a pandemic, right before a major election, tracks like this are a nice relief from all the turmoil and hectic energy brewing among us. A nice reminder to relax, have good laughs, and know that everything will work itself out. The guys are singing about ice cream trucks for fuck’s sake. I for one have been getting a strawberry cone every few days and giving the ice cream man a tip each time, and his response makes me think I’m the only person who does that. Enjoy the video for “Meloncholia,” tune in, chill out and be kind.
