Kai Tak featuring Draag and the effervescent noisy electric shoegaze haze of "Jalen Rose"

Kai Tak is solo collaborative project of L.A. based musician Chris King (Cold Showers) where he works with different artists on every song he produces. On the noisy electric shoegaze dreamy affair "Jallen Rose" he features L.A. based quintet Draag, led by songwriter / musician Adrian Acosta, a band I have written about a few times before (see here). The pairing is natural and one that is, quite frankly, made in dream pop heaven.

"Jallen Rose" is a dense beat heavy illusion with a drone of dark romance floating on very cool inviting synth arpeggios, dreamy bass sounds, all sweetened up by Jessica Huang's and Adrian Acosta's tender vox.
