Mirror Trash's layered cake of post punk heaviness on "Naisu"

"of ghosts and monsters inside my head wishing I was fucking dead"

Mirror Trash hail from Carlisle, UK and just released their album "NEONTRASHA" and the track "Naisu" is a stomping dreamy post punk affair with proggy counterpoised guitars creating layers of sound while the drums and bass jam relentlessly. The vox float in a thick nightmarish haze of surreal angst in a puzzle pieced tornado of shoegaze, 90's Goth pop, surf punk and more. After the "as the clock ticks ticks ticks ticks" happens, the utter heaviness, punchy swirls of noise, of rabid tom tom beats, waves of guitars and discordant post punk sounds made me smile in a big way. Check it out and check out the album.
