"Gavedad" by Adiós Cometa, a shoegaze outfit from San José, Costa Rica, is a potent piece of sound. There is a strong sense of romance here with striking downbeats, time signature swaps and as much as the vocal aesthetic drowns you in a sort of cross generational ennui, it is the painting of emotions through the lead guitar work, with pods cranked up all the way, that takes your breath away.
The band just released a new EP titled 'La Isla Que Somos' via Californian label Velvet Blue Music.
