High Sunn in the low of "deep sigh"

"I get so sad when we move through time"

Move with and through "deep sigh" by High Sunn, the San Fran based project of Justin Cheromiah, and you will undoubtedly feel the youthful rush of, well, being young, of finding yourself and navigating through all the minefields out in the world. Cheromiah's vocal aesthetic here, is bathed in the angst and reticence of all that. Sometimes when you are older, the adage "well, if I only knew then what I know now" pops up in dumb chatter with others and then you realize that you are stepping around minefields your whole damn life, the nature of them just changes but they are there just the same.

I really like the aesthetic here, the shades of sound that sometimes overlap into imperfect dissonance just like life. There is a 90's goth pop thing happening and tropical punk and a half a dozen other genres all happily dancing together.
