The Tremolo Beer Gut and the surf rock come on "Hey Hello" featuring Cristina Martinez, Jon Spencer and The Mikkeller Choir

Step into the purse lipped slicked back hair smokiness of "Hey Hello" (wearing two tone creepers, of course) and you may suddenly shimmy and shake. The track is think, ultra thick in atmosphere. I mean the saturation is heavy and it all begins with guitars that feel like you are going to enter a bull fight. There are plenty of "Heys" and sexy surf guitar with a stalking, dancing bass and drum beat as girl / boy vox (Jon Spencer and Cristina Martinez) size each other up in provocative ways. It feels like a come on of epic proportions as, presumably, nothing else transpires or does it. In the end it is beside the point. It is all tongue and cheeky, amazingly fun and nostalgic throwing love (and maybe even soft barbs) at this period of music / fashion / time and lets not forget the sort of Question Mark and the Mysterians double time Farfisa-esque organ sound which is incredible and dripping in cool.

The Tremolo Beer Gut hail from Copenhagen, Denmark and are a mostly instrumental garage and surf rock outfit and "Hey Hello" is from the bands 5th studio album entitled 'You Can’t Handle The Tremolo Beer Gut' and "features guest appearances by Sune Rose Wagner (The Raveonettes), Jon Spencer (The Blues Explosion & Heavy Trash), The Courettes, Cristina Martinez (Boss Hog), Evan D. Foster (The Sonics and Boss Martians), Chris Barfield (the Huntington Cads) and others. The new album is released by Crunchy Frog worldwide except for the USA, where the two esteemed labels MuSick Recordings (los Angeles) and No-Count Records (Seattle) will be spreading the gospel of the TBG."

They are here to put the URF! back in surf! They love tremolo, they love beer and they've got guts! The Tremolo Beer Gut is the premier retro-surf-rock band on the planet. Their records explode with original compositions, recorded in mono, dual stereo and whichever way the band damn well pleases. Live the band kicks some serious butt. The TBG are cool, sexy and evil (good evil)! Old school style!
