Fleur bleu.e and the sparkling beauty of "sun" (Official Video)

"Well I think I’m done / The work is not over yet / Work is not done / I’m craving for fun tonight..."

French indie pop rock duo Fleur bleu.e have a sound that stirs in many genres all turning and spinning in an airy beautiful sky. Their latest track "sun" is as pretty as it is sweetly sad hinged on Delphine's vocal aesthetic that holds elegant sustains and broad sort of chamber pop ascensions while Vladimir’s guitar notes rain down in magical ways and bounce off the pavement. His fluidity while bass notes seem to weave through all the pretty guitar lines that rush, then hold back then run even faster.

The lyrical poetry of "sun" might just be about the inner sun in all of us that transcends our descriptors and general identity politics and celebrates the spectrums of light inside all of us. I love this particular passage:

"Genders are over
I’ve found the other me

Can you feel my joy?
It’s touching your heart again

I don’t want to be seen as a girl but yours
Oh I’ve been thinking of changing my…
But no"

On "sun" the French duo was helped by Ben Etter's mixing skills (Deerhunter, Franz Ferdinand) and the cover title realized by the illustrator Noémie Chust. The Official Video was shot in Super 8 as directed by the artist and director Clémentine Chapron.

The duo is currently recording its debut album with a label whose identity is still kept secret. The first singles are scheduled for Spring 2022.

Fleur bleu.e knits a music made of dreams and nightmares that calls our fragility to express itself, beyond the prism of binary gender and oriented towards an atmospheric future. It praises our inner sentient being and the beauty in little imperfections.
