Motel Midnight and the indie electronic funky rock burn of "Save Me"

"she love me so, she love me not / her fever burning hot..."

New Zealand based Motel Midnight create indie electronic pop / funky rock with deep dance grooves with a timeless sense of nostalgia burning like 80's club culture. Dip into the big bass lines, funky soul pop guitar and gritty vocal aesthetic of "Save Me" and you may feel like cruising downtown. The three piece band is comprised of Reuben Keeling (vocals, bass guitar) Bruce Ferguson (vocals, guitar) Ben Stanley (synths, beats, production) and they share this about the track:

"We've all been in messed-up relationships where we've tried to save or change the person we're with. Sometimes you just have to love them in spite of their faults."

"Save Me" feels like an 80's tinged amalgam of synth wave, soul pop, funk rock, new wave club burner for the ages.
