Baby Combat and the dreamy step into "Heaven is an Izakaya"

Baby Combat is the indie rock project of Noel Yeo (Supersloth, Shelves), a creative singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and divergent dreamer currently based in Portland, Oregon. Every time I hear his music I feel a tug back into 90's dreamy tones. A bit of that era's Goth Pop, indie rock, dream pop even kissed with emo grunge distilled into something else that is Baby Combat itself. His latest, "Heaven is an Izakaya" is inspired by the movie "Another Round" and Noel's deep love for Japanese pubs.
